Community Prayer Requests

Overview - How It Works

We ask every Greenhouse family to make a concerted effort to pray for the Greenhouse community during our week of prayer. We have taken several steps to make it easier to participate.

  1. Every day this week we will post new prayer requests on the Daily Requests. Each day will focus on specific facets of Greenhouse.

  2. The Daily Requests are divided in four sections: Morning, Noontime, Evening, and Nighttime for those who want to pray throughout the day.

  3. We have created a place to share Community Prayer Requests. Anyone can add a request on the page; and all are invited to pray.

A Few Tips and Ideas

  • Involve your children. Invite them into the privilege of prayer.

  • Consider praying throughout the day. Add a few Greenhouse prayers when you say grace before each meal.

  • At some point in the week, pray with another Greenhouse family for a few minutes. Consider praying over the phone.

  • Text prayer reminders to your spouse (or cell-phone carrying children).

  • Set reminders for yourself to pray at multiple points during the day.

  • Flavor your prayers with generous doses of praise and thanksgiving.

  • Let someone know that you prayed for them.
